Vice President Design Services

Biography

Robert W.G. Manning joined TAEUS in February of 2007 as Vice-President of Integrated Circuit Solutions - a business unit comprised of semiconductor reverse engineering and forward design engineering.  He brings over 29 years of experience in semiconductor processing, semiconductor design and product development.  Under Robet’s direction, TAEUS has reverse engineered the entire analog section off of two Broadcom devices – one at the 90nm node and one at 65nm.  The forward design engineering group is currently in the process of recreating an obsolete part by reverse engineering an existing IC and then converting it to a new technology.

Mr. Manning received his BS in Electrical Engineering (Cum Laude) from the University of Arkansas in 1978.  He followed this degree obtaining an MS in Electrical Engineering in 1980. He is a long-standing member of the IEEE, a member of Tau Beta PI (honorary engineering society), Eta Kappa Nu (honorary engineering society), Pi Mu Epsilon (honorary mathematical society) and was recently inducted into the University of Arkansas Electrical Engineering Academy of excellence.
